Neana Kalil won a Silver Medal for her color photograph, Josie McDonald won bronze for Decorative Food Centerpiece, and Amber Colmorgen, Gabby O'Brien, and Natalee Shelton earned bronze for Chapter Showcase Manual.

Sugg students compete in Manatee County Science Fair

Natalie Shelton wins silver at FCCLA District competition
Josie entered the Decorative Food Centerpiece competition and Natalie was in the Storytelling competition (she told a story about a mouse). Congratulations to these students and to their marvelous advisor, Mrs. Montgomery.
Sugg students help out
Sugg TSA students attended a Holiday Party at Haile Middle School thrown especially for foster kids in Manatee county. Students from many schools were there to bless the more than 200 foster kids that showed up.
Sugg wins 3rd place in Mixon Fruit Farm Competition
Sugg students competed with high school and MTI culinary students at a Mixon Fruit Farm culinary competition this past weekend. Caitlin Whiddon and Zach Brannam entered their Orange Olive Oil cake at the event and received a 3rd place trophy. Congratulations Sugg culinary students and Mrs. Montgomery!
Manatee County will receive Clean Beach award
The Sugg National Junior Honor Society, along with several other teen organizations, are being recognized for their part in keeping Manatee County beaches clean. Read more about the award here.
