Check out the skim board project

The students had made the mold and made their first skim board. Check out the pictures in the gallery page. With these students just starting in January of this year, they are excited to see the progress they have made in the class. Learning the very basics and already being able to make a skim board. This project is one that the students can later perform right from their own garage. Those that take part in the course learn not only how to build a boat as a career path, but also as a very enjoyable hobby that can truly be done at home.
