Welcome to Manatee Technical Institute Community Training Center. Manatee Technical Institute is the designated Community Training Center in Manatee County for the American Heart Association.

Our goals are:

• Continue to train MCSB personnel in CPR, First Aid, And use of AED's
• Assist with procuring funding to purchase additional AED's for schools
• Promote CPR in School Program - Adopt a School
• Increase number of people trained in CPR, ACLS, PALS and First Aid
• Advocate AHA by participating in Heart Walk event

Our dedicated staff is focused on quality education and training. As a result, MTI students are national winners in CPR/First Aid contests in SkillsUSA for 4 years in a row! Community Training Center includes 7 training sites. All our instructors (there are 223 highly qualified trainers) are experienced nurses, paramedics, firefighter, and EMC specialists.

More than 4000 students graduate from our center every year. Many of them work at local hospitals and medical centers, dental and doctors offices, many of them are School Board employees, work at various local Businesses, and governmental agencies.
