Course is required for the Medical Assistant program. This is a self-directed course where most of the coursework can be completed at a location of choice, there will be required on-site coursework and testing.

Upon completion students will understand the basic elements of medical language, standard medical abbreviations, and the proper spelling, pronunciation and definition for key medical terms.
